David Pozner,Andrew Ferrin Death and Obituary – The tragic events surrounding the death of 64-year-old David Pozner, along with the kidnapping of 4-year-old Seraphina Gingles and her mother, Mary Gingles, have raised a grave concern in the community. Nathan Gingles, the 43-year-old estranged father of Seraphina, is facing multiple serious charges, including three counts of first-degree murder and kidnapping.
David Pozner’s lifeless body was discovered early on Sunday morning, on the back patio of a house located at 5897 North Plum Bay Parkway in Tamarac, Florida. Investigators determined that he had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. Broward County deputies were promptly called to the scene, initiating an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death. The discovery of Pozner’s body was just the beginning of a much more disturbing situation that unfolded in the hours that followed.
At the time of Pozner’s death, the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) also noted the alarming absence of 34-year-old Mary Gingles and her 4-year-old daughter, Seraphina. This absence led to suspicions that the mother and daughter may have been with Nathan Gingles, the estranged father of Seraphina. The relationship between Mary and Nathan had deteriorated to the point that Mary had obtained a protection order against him. The disappearance of both mother and child was worrisome, especially given Nathan’s violent past and the fact that the situation now involved the safety of a young child.
The concern deepened as an AMBER Alert was issued, warning the public to be on the lookout for Mary and Seraphina. Just hours after the alert went out, deputies located Nathan Gingles and his daughter in his BMW X3 at approximately 11:00 a.m. in North Lauderdale, at 7900 West McNab Road. This discovery confirmed fears that Nathan had been involved in the disappearance of the two. However, questions surrounding the death of David Pozner remained unresolved, raising suspicions that Nathan’s involvement in the case was more extensive than initially anticipated.
As investigators continued to piece together the details of the case, the Broward Sheriff’s Office Dive Team made a significant discovery. A firearm, believed to be the weapon used by Nathan in the crimes, was found in a nearby canal. This critical evidence strengthened the case against Nathan Gingles and added to the mounting charges he faced.
Nathan Gingles was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the BSO Public Safety Building. He is currently facing three counts of first-degree murder, one for the death of David Pozner and two others in connection with his actions toward Mary and Seraphina. In addition, Gingles faces charges of kidnapping, violating a domestic violence order, and interference with custody. His violent actions have not only led to the death of Pozner but have also placed Seraphina and Mary in grave danger.
This case highlights the severity of domestic violence and the devastating impact it can have on families. Nathan Gingles’ arrest marks a significant development in the investigation, but it also raises further questions about the underlying motives and circumstances that led to this violent tragedy. The community remains shaken by the loss of David Pozner and the ongoing dangers that arose from Nathan’s actions. The legal process will continue to unfold, but the lasting consequences of this horrific event are already deeply felt.
