His love for his family was boundless, and he took immense pride in his role as a father and grandfather. As “Poppi” to his five grandchildren—Jayden “Jayde” Alidia, Dezi Townsend, Kaulder Butterfield, Jasper Butterfield, and Xander Butterfield—Gary found immeasurable joy and laughter. His family meant everything to him, and he made sure to shower them with affection and support.
Gary was predeceased by his loving parents, Paul Albert and Marie Lois Barth, and his in-laws, James and Floramae Mann. Despite this, he remained surrounded by a vast extended family, including aunts Doris Peterson and Charlotte Blazek, cousins, nieces, and nephews who cherished his presence.
