Zachary, aged 23, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at UC Medical Center due to complications from congenital heart disease. His untimely passing has left a profound impact on his family, friends, and the entire community.

Zach’s life, although short, was one filled with love, joy, and a passion for living fully. His vibrant personality and infectious energy made him a beloved figure in every environment. Known for his outgoing and charismatic nature, Zach had an incredible ability to connect with people, leaving lasting impressions wherever he went. His humor, kindness, and genuine interest in others endeared him to everyone he met, ensuring that he was never short of friends.

From a young age, Zachary was a person who embraced every moment of life. He had a natural knack for building friendships and was always the first to offer a hand of companionship, whether in a classroom, during a basketball game, or in casual social gatherings. His enthusiasm was contagious, and his ability to make everyone around him feel at ease made him an unforgettable presence.

In addition to his social nature, Zach had a deep love for basketball. He enjoyed playing pick-up games with friends and family, where his athleticism and competitive spirit shone brightly. However, it was his sportsmanship and camaraderie that truly set him apart. Zach’s love for the game extended beyond the court—he believed that basketball, much like life, was about building relationships, working hard, and enjoying the journey together.

Zach’s ambitions extended far beyond athletics. At just 23, he had already accomplished so much. A homeowner and a real estate agent, Zach demonstrated exceptional drive and determination in his personal and professional life. He was also pursuing a degree in Construction Management at Northern Kentucky University (NKU), where he was a dedicated student and a committed member of the Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) Fraternity. Zach’s leadership and involvement with PIKE reflected his desire to build meaningful relationships and contribute to the growth of his community. His fraternity brothers admired him for his integrity, work ethic, and dedication to fostering strong connections.

Despite his young age, Zach had big dreams and was actively working toward achieving them. He was determined to build a future filled with success, and his optimism and ambition inspired all who knew him. His passing has left a void in the hearts of many, but his memory will continue to inspire others to live with the same energy and passion that he did.

Zach was a deeply caring and loyal individual. He shared a special bond with his family, including his parents, Lynn Berberich and Dan Hart, his stepmother, Molly Hart, his sister, Alaina Hart, and his stepbrothers, Jude and Seth Bertinato. He was also dearly loved by his grandmothers, Elaine Berberich and Elaine Hart, his step-grandparents, Bill and Donna White, and his extended family members. Zach’s girlfriend, Hannah Rath, was a significant part of his life, and their relationship was built on love, support, and shared dreams.

Zach’s death at such a young age has left his community heartbroken, but his legacy will continue to live on. A Memorial Scholarship Fund is being established in his honor to support students pursuing careers in construction management and related fields. This scholarship will serve as a lasting tribute to Zach’s love for learning and his commitment to achieving his goals.

Zach’s family and friends will gather to celebrate his life during visitation services on Monday, March 17, 2025, at First Baptist Church Cold Spring, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Zach will be laid to rest in Alexandria Cemetery, a place that holds special significance for him.

Although Zachary’s time on this earth was far too short, his life was a testament to living with purpose, passion, and love for others. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Rest in peace, Zachary Ronan Hart. You will never be forgotten.
