Todd Morici Clifton, NJ Death and Obituary – It is with great sadness that we report the tragic passing of Todd Morici Jr., a beloved member of the Montclair Kimberley Academy (MKA) community. Todd, a “lifer” at MKA, passed away due to a skateboarding accident, a loss that has sent shockwaves throughout his family, friends, and the entire MKA community. His death, though sudden and heartbreaking, has drawn an outpouring of love, support, and remembrance, underscoring the profound impact he had on those around him.
Todd’s journey at MKA began in the earliest grades, and he remained at the school throughout his academic career, culminating in his graduation as a member of the Class of 2013. He was not merely a student; Todd was an integral part of the MKA fabric. His presence on campus was a constant source of joy, and his positive influence was felt by all who encountered him. Known for his infectious smile, sense of humor, and unwavering kindness, Todd’s ability to connect with others was unparalleled. He was the kind of person who could light up a room simply by walking into it.
Those who knew Todd best describe him as a bright, engaging, and caring individual. Rob Pannullo, a close friend and fellow member of the Class of 2013, shared a heartfelt tribute to Todd, emphasizing his role as a source of laughter and light for everyone he met. “Todd was a jokester, a fantastic athlete, and an incredible friend who always wanted to help other people,” Pannullo reflected. This sentiment was echoed by many who considered Todd a loyal friend, a compassionate soul who was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
In addition to his spirited personality, Todd was also known for his athleticism. His talent and competitive spirit were evident in various sports, and he was admired for his dedication and teamwork. In a final act of compassion that speaks volumes about his character, Todd chose to be an organ donor. This decision will ultimately save the lives of at least eight individuals in need of life-saving transplants, allowing Todd’s legacy to live on in the most meaningful way possible. To honor Todd’s memory and celebrate his life, a visitation will be held at Marrocco Memorial Chapel in Clifton, NJ, on Sunday, April 13th, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. A funeral mass will take place the following day, Monday, April 14th, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Philip the Apostle Parish, also in Clifton. All are welcome to attend and share their memories of Todd during this time of sorrow.
