Born on June 5, 1998, in Royal Oak, Michigan, Noah was the beloved son of David C. VanDerheyden, Jr. and Dawn Marie York. From a young age, Noah exhibited a remarkable zest for life. His talents, particularly in music, were apparent early on. A self-taught musician, Noah possessed an incredible ear for melodies and rhythms. His ability to master a wide range of traditional instruments, including the fiddle, banjo, mandolin, drums, piano, and guitar, left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to witness his musical journey. His talents were not just technical but soulful, and his music had the power to uplift and inspire.
Noah was deeply involved in the music ministries of both Lighthouse Baptist Church in Algonac and Living Word Church in New Haven. Through his involvement in these communities, he used his musical gifts to share his faith and love with others, leading worship services that resonated deeply with those who attended. Whether performing on stage or playing for friends in more intimate settings, Noah’s music was a reflection of his vibrant spirit, always touching hearts and lifting spirits. The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Noah’s life at a visitation held at the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, located at 140 S. Main, Mount Clemens, Michigan, on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 11:30 am, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
