Sanket passed away on May 23, 2025, in Pennsylvania at the age of 44. A resident of Scarsdale, New York, Sanket leaves behind a legacy of exceptional leadership, innovation in finance, and a deep commitment to family and community.
Sanket Patel’s career in the financial sector spanned more than two decades and was distinguished by his contributions to several prominent firms. Prior to founding his own company, he held key leadership roles at Alyeska Investment Group, Brookfield Asset Management, and Walleye Capital. These positions laid the foundation for his groundbreaking work at Paradoxiom Capital, which he launched in February 2024.
Headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, Paradoxiom Capital quickly rose to prominence under Sanket’s leadership. The firm specialized in industrial equities and managed assets exceeding $489 million, serving clients across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Known for his strategic foresight and analytical rigor, Sanket built a reputation as a trusted advisor and innovative thinker within the investment community.
Sanket was a proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management. Colleagues and peers consistently described him as a leader of integrity and vision, whose commitment to excellence inspired those around him. His ability to balance data-driven decision-making with a human-centered leadership style earned him widespread admiration.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Sanket was deeply devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife, Priya Patel, and their two children, Shay and Shyla. He also leaves behind his parents, Rajesh and Meena Patel, and his sister, Anjali Desai. In honor of his final wishes, a GoFundMe campaign has been established to support the educational futures of his children and to fund research into non-small cell lung cancer, the illness that ultimately claimed his life. A memorial service will be held on May 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Scarsdale Community Center. In lieu of flowers, the Patel family requests that donations be made to the GoFundMe campaign or to organizations dedicated to cancer research.
