Mitch Fadness Saint Anthony, Idaho Death and Obituary – The Saint Anthony, Idaho community is mourning the heartbreaking and sudden loss of Mitch Logan Fadness, who passed away on October 21, 2025, at the age of 29. A devoted single father, loving son, and loyal friend, Mitch’s passing has left an immense void in the lives of all who knew him.
Mitch was happiest when spending time with his beloved 5-year-old daughter, Ava, who affectionately called him “Daddy Mitch.” He devoted his life to her joy and imagination, filling their days with laughter, play, and creativity. Their home was filled with arts and crafts, stuffed animals, and dress-up adventures — all expressions of the vibrant world he built for her. Mitch took great pride in nurturing Ava’s curiosity and love of life, ensuring that every day was filled with magic and wonder.
A touching reminder of their bond was found even in the smallest details — Mitch passed away with his fingernails and toenails painted by Ava, a symbol of their playful connection and his deep love as a father. He never hesitated to join her in dress-up games, transforming into any character she imagined. His long hair was her favorite to style, and he wore her hairstyles with pride, embodying the joy and tenderness of their relationship.
Beyond being a devoted father, Mitch was a true outdoorsman. He found peace in the sunshine and open skies, often escaping the chill of Idaho for the warmth of southern Nevada. He and Ava, along with her loyal dog Sweetie Pie, were often seen cruising through their neighborhood — Mitch on his One Wheel, and Ava in a jogging stroller, both smiling ear to ear.
Mitch was also a talented mechanic, known for his ingenuity and love of engines. To him, every motor was a puzzle waiting to be solved, and he took great pride in tackling challenges — even with only a left hand that had a thumb and a single finger, the result of a potato equipment accident at age 13. Despite that, he never let anything slow him down. He was passionate about Toyota vehicles, owning several, including three Priuses. His humor, confidence, and skill earned him respect from friends and admiration from family. As one cousin fondly put it, “His hair, his lips, his smooth-talking — yeah, he was all that.”
Mitch will be remembered for his unconditional love, sense of humor, and adventurous spirit. He leaves behind his daughter Ava, his loving parents Les and Angie Fadness, his siblings Blake and Natalie Fadness (Audrey, Josie, Remi), Riley Gilbert (Quinn and Maci), and Conner Fadness (Krystal), as well as his grandparents Robert and Lynda Reiley. His memory will forever live on through the love he shared and the lessons he imparted to those around him.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the St. Anthony Stake Center, followed by interment at the Tetonia Cache Clawson Cemetery. A family dinner will follow at the Tetonia Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help cover funeral and future expenses.
Mitch’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and resilience — a shining reminder that even a short life can leave an immeasurable impact.
