Bob Maggs Dublin Ohio Death and Obituary – Robert “Bob” Maggs of Dublin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, at the age of 61. Known affectionately by family and friends as a “Gentle Giant,” Bob was a man whose kindness, humor, and love for others left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. His passing has deeply saddened his community, but his memory continues to shine brightly through the countless lives he touched.
Bob Maggs lived a full and meaningful life centered around his family, faith, and love for sports. A devoted husband to his wife, Marcy, and a proud father to Sophia and Mason, Bob found great joy in watching his children grow and succeed. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Grace Lauren, whose memory remained close to his heart, as well as by his beloved parents.
Bob’s love for sports was one of the many ways he connected with others. He was an enthusiastic golfer and football fan, known to spend his weekends on the golf course or cheering from the sidelines. Beyond being a spectator, he was a dedicated coach, always encouraging young athletes to pursue excellence and teamwork. His involvement in coaching his children’s teams became a cornerstone of his legacy — not just as a parent, but as a mentor and role model to many.
Outside of sports, Bob had a deep appreciation for music history, often sharing stories, songs, and trivia with those around him. His knowledge and enthusiasm for music made every gathering livelier and more memorable. Those close to him describe Bob as someone who could make anyone feel welcome — a man who led with kindness and humor, embodying the true spirit of generosity.

In lieu of flowers, the Maggs family has requested that donations be made to Children’s Champions at Nationwide Children’s Hospital or The Glitter Guild — two organizations that reflect Bob’s lifelong compassion and commitment to helping others.
